Here we have the beginning of the end. Organized Play was taking over
the Living City campaign, and basically kicking all the volunteers in
the teeth doing so. The corporate greed of WoTC started to kick in, and
they didn’t see the RPGA as a profitable branch. Ironically, by selling
it off for parts and discontinuing it, they lost the best gamer
feedback marketing system ever created. They could sure use that now,
as they have recently (2024) failed to make good decisions on any
regular basis. Their product quality is now very poor because they
listen to the vocal few instead of keeping their head in with the
masses like the RPGA allowed.
